It’s the small things that matter.

When I started this blog, I said that I would let it be what it was going to be.  So far, this blog has been confined to funny stories about patrons and the general havoc wrecked upon the library by them on a daily basis.

But this entry is going to be different!

Because today, a small patron gave me a hug because I got her a book.

🙂

She is a regular patron, coming in each week for her graphic novel fix, and was just so happy to see me it filled me with joy and made me forget what I was going to post originally that was a funny story (I’m sure it was) about another patron.

So there, you see?  Patrons can be funny.  But they can also be really sweet.

So this post focuses on the sweet.  But don’t worry!  I’m sure someone else will fully annoy me today, causing a return to the regular course of this blog.  Until then, though, I’m going to hold onto the smile.
